Mafia II is the sequel to Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. Developed by 2K Czech and 2K Games, it was originally announced last August 2008, and exactly two years thereafter, it was released just lately, August 24, in North America. This third person action and adventure game can be played on PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows.

Similar to the previous initial release of the game, the story revolves around the life of a criminal who needs to accomplish tasks and missions given by a Mafioso, in order to advance to the succeeding levels. Much like the phenomenal Grand Theft Auto gameplay, the game also involves much driving, shooting and similar gangly acts.

Bungie Games will, once again, hit the sales market and tip the gaming industry with the release of the latest series in the Halo Saga. Halo: Reach, being the title of the upcoming game to be released this September 14, 2010 is considered a highly anticipated game most especially due to the hype that has already been created in the internet and the gaming arena as well.

Upon release, the game has three main editions: First is the Standard Edition which includes nothing but the game itself, no other freebies. Second is the Limited Edition where the player gets to unlock a bonus Elite Warrior in the game. The last package is the Legendary package which unlocks the Elite Armor and Spartan Recon Helmet, as well as a 10 pound statue of perhaps, the game’s character.

The wait is almost over for the COD addicts as the retail version of call of duty black ops is just a few months away, the official black ops release date is the 9th of November 2010, Activision will officially release the seventh installment of the worldwide PC Game phenomenon Call of Duty: Black Ops. The game’s development started circa April 2010 and since then, many rumors have already been out in the gaming arena, including forecasts of the game’s mission, plot and set-up.

Possibly some great news for us Dedicated Battlefield fans, Electronic Arts have just announce that they will be showcasing several upcoming game reveals and announcements, keep in kind i did say "Possibly" and as the Battlefield 3 Beta has been promised within 12 months this would be the ideal time to fuel the fire in our bellies.

This may turn out to be another wild goose hunt such as many of the other hopeful announcements we were all awaiting to hear from GamesCon 2010, but considering that Tokyo has a very large gaming fan base it would certainly enhance the Battlefield 3 hype further more should EA actually showcase Battlefield 3 once and for all.
